Running an E-Series without the hood cowl and factory HVAC intake box is a well-known trick: it drops weight, opens up airflow and cooling in the engine bay, makes the DME box and top-end easier to reach, and lets you actually hear the engine work. The one downside has always been keeping leaves, dust, and debris from dropping straight into the ventilation intake once the cowl is gone. These filters solve exactly that — a clean, simple way to protect the HVAC system after the delete.
