This Return Policy ("Policy") applies to all products and services sold by Bavarian Auto Parts LLC ("BAV," "we," "us," or "our") and outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are accepted.
A. General Policy
All sales are considered final unless otherwise specified in this Policy. By placing an order with BAV, the customer ("you") acknowledges and agrees to the terms set forth herein.
BAV reserves the right to refuse any return that does not comply with the conditions outlined below.
Returns are accepted only for eligible products and services, and only when the proper return process is followed.
B. Rights of Return
a. Permitted Product and Service Returns
Hardware / Physical Products: Eligible physical products may be returned within thirty (30) days of the delivery date, provided that the product is:
- Unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition;
- In its original packaging with all included components, hardware, and documentation; and
- Accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
Returned hardware is subject to inspection prior to approval of any refund or exchange. Products showing signs of installation, use, or damage caused after delivery may be denied or subject to a restocking fee.
Tune Services / Digital Products: Due to the custom and irreversible nature of tuning services and digital products, all tune purchases are final and non-refundable once the tune file or licensing has been delivered or activated.
If you experience an issue with a tune, BAV will work with you in good faith to resolve any technical concerns, but refunds will not be issued for delivered tune services.
b. Damaged Products
If a product arrives damaged, you must notify BAV within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
To process a damage claim, you must provide photographic evidence of the damage and the packaging. BAV will determine, at its discretion, whether to issue a replacement, repair, or refund.
c. Order Discrepancies
If you receive an incorrect product or an incomplete order, you must contact BAV within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery. BAV will correct verified discrepancies by shipping the correct item(s) or issuing an appropriate refund.
d. Defective or Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Products
Products that are defective or non-functional upon arrival may be eligible for replacement or refund, provided the issue is reported within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery and the product is returned for inspection. BAV reserves the right to test all returned items to confirm the reported defect.
e. Non-Returnable Products
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Tune services and digital products;
- Installed or used hardware;
- Custom or special-order items;
- Products returned without prior authorization; and
- Products returned after the applicable return window has expired.
C. Return Process
To initiate a return, you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by contacting BAV at the email address listed on our website.
When requesting an RMA, please include:
- Your order number;
- The product(s) involved;
- The reason for the return; and
- Any supporting documentation or photographs.
Once an RMA is issued:
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a BAV error or a defective product;
- Products must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return transit; and
- Refunds or exchanges will be processed after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
