Thank you for shopping with Bavarian Auto Parts. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how and when your order ships. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at sales@bavautoparts.com before placing your order.
Order Processing Time
Orders are generally processed and shipped within 1–2 business days after the order is placed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and major U.S. holidays.
Processing time is separate from shipping transit time. Orders placed after our daily cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will begin processing on the next business day. Estimated processing and delivery times are not guaranteed.
Backordered & Made-to-Order Items
Some items are backordered or made to order. For these products, the standard 1–2 business day processing window does not apply, and lead times vary depending on the vendor and current availability. These lead times are outside our direct control and are provided as estimates only.
If any item in your order is backordered or made to order, we'll do our best to note this on the product page and/or contact you after your order is placed with an estimated timeframe. If you need an item by a specific date, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability and expected lead time.
Orders containing both in-stock and backordered/made-to-order items may ship separately or ship complete once all items are available. Made-to-order items are produced specifically for your order and are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has begun.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We ship via USPS or UPS. Available shipping options and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout based on your location and the items in your cart.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package weight, and dimensions. Shipping charges are non-refundable except where an error was made on our part.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update. If you haven't received a shipping confirmation within 1 business day, please contact us.
Domestic Shipping
We ship to all 50 U.S. states. Transit times vary by carrier and service level selected at checkout.
International Shipping
We ship internationally to select countries. International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, brokerage, and customs fees, which are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are collected by your local customs authority and are entirely your responsibility.
Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for packages delayed, held, seized, or destroyed by customs, and no refund will be issued in these cases. If a package is returned to us due to refusal to pay customs fees or an incorrect address, refunds (if any) will exclude all shipping costs and are subject to our restocking terms.
Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address
It is your responsibility to enter a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. We ship to the address exactly as provided on the order.
We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address entered by the customer. In these cases:
- No refund or free replacement will be issued for packages shipped to a customer-provided wrong address.
- If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, you are responsible for the cost of reshipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- If a package is delivered to the address you provided but you claim it was the wrong address, we are not liable and no refund or reship will be issued.
If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. We will attempt to correct it only if the order has not yet shipped; once shipped, no changes can be made.
Refused, Unclaimed & Undeliverable Packages
Packages that are refused at delivery, unclaimed, or returned as undeliverable due to customer error will be treated as a return. Any refund issued will exclude original and return shipping costs and may be subject to a restocking fee. Reshipment requires payment of new shipping charges.
Shipping Delays
Once a package leaves our facility, it is in the hands of the carrier. We are not responsible for carrier-related delays, weather events, misrouting, or other circumstances outside our control, and such delays are not grounds for cancellation, refund, or reshipment. If your package appears significantly delayed or stuck in transit, contact us and we'll help you follow up with the carrier.
Lost Packages
If tracking shows a package as delivered but you did not receive it, we recommend checking with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier first, as most "missing" packages are located this way. Claims for lost packages must be reported within 7 days of the last tracking update. We will assist in filing a carrier claim, but we are not liable for packages marked as delivered by the carrier, and resolution is at the carrier's discretion.
Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged, take clear photos of the packaging and the item(s) and contact us within 5 days of delivery. Claims submitted without photos or after the 5-day window may not be eligible for resolution. Do not discard the item or original packaging until the claim is resolved, as the carrier may require inspection.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Requests to change or cancel an order must be made before the order ships. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled and is subject to our return policy. Made-to-order and backordered items may not be cancellable once production or the vendor order has begun.
